About IndexFix Tools
What this site is
Each page is one tool for one job that comes up when pages don't get into Google search, with a short guide on how to use it and where to get the data. The tools are free and need no sign-up.
Privacy
Files you choose and text you paste are read by JavaScript in your browser. They are not uploaded, stored or shared. The site sets no cookies and has no ad trackers. Like any website, the hosting provider may keep standard request logs, such as the address of the page that was requested.
Where the explanations come from
Statements about how Google crawls and indexes pages are based on Google Search Central documentation and Search Console Help. The sources are listed at the bottom of each tool page. Recommendations that come from SpeedyIndex practice, such as link pace, are marked as such.
Who makes it
The SpeedyIndex team, which runs a service for checking whether URLs are in Google's index and for sending URL lists for indexing. Updates and new tools are announced in the SpeedyIndex Telegram channel.
IndexFixBot: how online checks work
Some tools can load a public address on request: a robots.txt file, a page, a sitemap or a redirect chain. The request goes to the IndexFix Tools server, which downloads only that address and passes the answer back to the browser. Nothing is stored.
The bot identifies itself with the User-Agent “Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; IndexFixBot/1.0; +…/about/#bot)”, opens only addresses that a visitor entered, doesn’t follow links on the page, follows up to 10 redirects and doesn’t try to get around bot protection. If a site shows a check page instead of the content, the tool says so and offers to paste the content by hand. Site owners who don’t want these checks can block the User-Agent “IndexFixBot”.
