Key facts
- SpeedyIndex recommends 1–2 links a day (7–14 a week) for domains younger than 6–12 months.
- For established domains the recommended pace is 3–7 links a day (20–50 a week).
- For large trusted domains it is 10 or more a day (50–100+ a week).
- These are SpeedyIndex's working recommendations, not numbers published by Google.

Where to get the data
Your link plan
The number of links from an outreach plan, a link-building order or a content calendar.
A list of URLs
Paste the URLs to get a CSV with a date for each one. Clean the list first so duplicates don't take up days.
Why a steady pace
A steady, explainable flow of new links is easier to plan, track and correct than one big batch. It also shows sooner whether the links are being picked up.
Choosing the domain type
“New” means a domain younger than 6–12 months or one that has few links so far. “Established” fits most sites with history. “Large trusted” is for big, well-known sites with a regular flow of links.
Planning versus automation
The schedule is a plan you can follow by hand. In SpeedyIndex, Drip-Feed mode spreads one task over the number of days you set.

To spread a task automatically instead, use SpeedyIndex Drip-Feed mode.
Questions and answers
Does Google publish a safe number of links per day?
No. The paces here are SpeedyIndex recommendations based on practice.
Can I skip weekends?
Yes. Tick “Skip weekends” and Saturdays and Sundays get no links.
What happens if I enter a faster pace?
The schedule is built anyway, with a note when the pace is above the recommendation for the chosen domain type.
Can the URLs keep their order?
Yes. URLs are assigned to days in the order you paste them.
